What it is. PROSPECT is a fan-run platform: fans create a pump.fun token that names a college basketball prospect, and the token's creator fees are routed to that prospect as a name-and-likeness payment. The prospect signs a standard NIL agreement, is paid in U.S. dollars at fixed milestones, and every payment has a public receipt. PROSPECT never sells tokens and never holds fans' money.

Eligibility and NIL

  • Payment to a prospect is for a name-and-likeness licence, documented in a signed Player Agreement, with a disclosure packet for NIL Go and the school provided at signing.
  • No payment depends on enrolment, transfer, commitment, playing time or performance. No stats or game results appear anywhere on the site.
  • Payments to a prospect begin only after they have verified their X account and a school email, confirmed they are 18+, and signed.
  • No school, conference or team names, logos, colors or uniforms appear on tokens, pages or share images.

Gambling and securities posture

  • Tokens confer no rights, revenue share or claim on any prospect, team or PROSPECT; the site says so on every page.
  • PROSPECT does not buy, sell, market-make or promote the price of any token, and does not publish prices.
  • Prospects and their immediate families agree not to trade any PROSPECT token; the wallets they register are monitored, and a violation pauses payouts.
  • Payments are fixed dollar amounts at milestones based on fees already received, never a bet on an outcome.

Prospect control

  • Until a prospect claims, only their public X handle is used; nothing is written about them.
  • A prospect can pause or delist their page at any time from their account.
  • A school or conference can request delisting by email; requests are handled the same day and the page comes down. (A token on pump.fun cannot be removed, but it is marked not official and stops earning the prospect anything.)

Money handling and records

  • Fees are converted to dollars at the day's price; each conversion, payout and receipt is logged and exportable.
  • Monthly statements go to each prospect; year-to-date totals are tracked for 1099 reporting at the $600 threshold.
  • Fees for a prospect who does not claim within 90 days are forfeited to PROSPECT and are never paid to anyone else on their behalf.
